I volunteered as a Publishing Associate (Researcher and Writer) at Save the Water™, where I researched and wrote evidence-based articles on water contamination, water technologies, and global water issues. This role required sourcing and evaluating credible scientific and policy literature, adhering to strict citation and SEO guidelines, collaborating with editorial leadership, and meeting consistent publication deadlines. Through this work, I contributed to public-facing research that supports environmental awareness, education, and advocacy.
As the Secretary at the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®) Ottawa-Outaouais Chapter, I ensured strong governance, transparency, and continuity of operations. In this role, I manage and maintain all official corporate documentation, including Letters Patent, Bylaws, and Board meeting records, and oversee the preparation, notification, and distribution of agendas and minutes for both Board and General Membership meetings. I supported organizational accountability by managing meeting logistics, maintained accurate records of decisions and actions, and facilitated formal communications with the IIBA. Where required, I also acted as a signing authority for financial matters. This role has strengthened my expertise in governance, documentation, and stakeholder coordination, reinforcing my ability to support structured decision-making in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
As a Researcher at DEFEND, I primarily conducted comprehensive qualitative and quantitative research to identify and reduce risks faced by children and vulnerable people online. Using relevant statistical methods and tools, I analyzed collected data and interpreted results to provide actionable insights for organizational decision-making. I also prepared clear and concise reports summarizing research findings, ensuring accessibility for a range of stakeholders across technical and non-technical audiences.
